The vast majority of tennis shoes are predominantly white, owing to the particularly traditional sartorial sensibilities of the game. So Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge II was a revelation of sorts when it dropped two decades ago, Nike Free Run 2 Online bringing bright, neon colors and a cool aura to the sport’s generally understated footwear. But they were still mostly white. Not so with the Nike Air Tech Challenge II Holiday 2014, a duo of colorways that forgo the color entirely.
And the timing couldn’t be more perfect, the Nike Free Tr Fit 2 Leather Sale shoes eschewing fragile colors just as the weather is turning wet and wintry. Both colorways, Obsidian/Black and Black/Burgundy, sport some degree of weather protection courtesy of uppers that avoid mesh and textile in favor of leather and snakeskin-embossed synthetic suede. Even the sole units are solid black, promising puddle-jumpers will see minimal color damage.
Check out plenty of looks at each below, and look for them to hit shelves in October or November.
