1994 Oregon Throwback Jersey Debuting This Week?

On Saturday, the Oregon Ducks will host the Washington Huskies, 20 years (give or take four days) after “The Pick,” nike roshe flyknit nz the seminal play by Oregon cornerback Kenny Wheaton that propelled the upstart Ducks past the then-national power Huskies and, in a manner of speaking, began a new era of Oregon football. Well, if a somewhat cryptic photo tweeted out by UO assistant AD for communications Andy McNamara is any indication, that’s precisely what’s happening. At the least, it appears the school is selling a special 1994 Oregon throwback jersey — with Kenny Wheaton name and number, no less — that remains remarkably faithful to that original look, down to the Duck logo on either sleeve. (Nike has generally been a bit apprehensive about producing gear with the Donald Duck character, due to licensing/royalty concerns.)
