Air Force 1 “Preserved Icons” Channels Lady Liberty’s Changes

The Nike Basketball 4th of July collection hit stores last week, but it looks like the best of the Independence Day-themed kicks are yet to come. In fact, nike free new zealand here’s the crown jewel of this year’s crop: the Nike Air Force 1 Preserved Icons.

The classic model is no mere homage to the Statue of Liberty, it beautifully and quite realistically channels the famous colors of the American landmark. But — again, like the statue — as time and erosion take hold, that coppery color gives way to a pale teal patina tone.
