Nike Mobb Ultra Low Updates the Mowabb

Despite getting the retro green light from Nike Sportswear at the beginning of the year, we haven’t seen much of Mowabb in 2015. Well, that ends this month . . . sort of.

OK, OK, it’s not quite the Mowabb, but the new Nike Mobb Ultra Low clearly takes its design cues from that classic ACG model, nike free run 2 simply streamlined and updated. A neoprene tongue represents for the Mowabb’s neoprene inner-sleeve, and the signature heel-clip is present as well. But the upper is sleeker, more minimal, in smooth leather and mesh toe, dispensing with the Mowabb’s busy paneling.

Look, it’s definitely not the Mowabb, nike free run 3 but the slimmer looks and water-resistant build may just be the recipe for the latest trail-to-fashion crossover sensation from the Swoosh.
