Air Python is Jordanesque in White and Red

The Air Python is already revered as a classic, nike roshe on sale a pioneer of the increasingly-common basketball-inspired fashion model (or fashion-inspired basketball model?). Much of that is thanks to its distinct design, which combines elements of the Air Force II with the Air Jordan II. nike roshe runs on sale So what if it was rendered in a traditional Air Jordan palette?

Well, it’d be wildly attractive, as evidenced by the Nike Air Python White/Red sample that’s surfaced a couple of times over the last few months. The traditional smooth white leather is paired with sleek red snake scales on the upper, while black on the collar further evokes so many Chicago-styled Air Jordans.

Alas, the colorway — which seems like it’d be an instant-classic, really, but what do I know — is said to be an unreleased sample. Here’s hoping that changes soon.

1994 Oregon Throwback Jersey Debuting This Week?

On Saturday, the Oregon Ducks will host the Washington Huskies, 20 years (give or take four days) after “The Pick,” nike roshe flyknit nz the seminal play by Oregon cornerback Kenny Wheaton that propelled the upstart Ducks past the then-national power Huskies and, in a manner of speaking, began a new era of Oregon football. (Oregon went on to end that season in the 1995 Rose Bowl, a bowl they hadn’t been to since 1957.)

So with the stars aligning — the two-decade anniversary syncing up with Oregon facing that same University of Washington — nike roshe on sale wouldn’t it be a waste to not mark the occasion with a special uniform? It is Oregon, remember.

Well, if a somewhat cryptic photo tweeted out by UO assistant AD for communications Andy McNamara is any indication, that’s precisely what’s happening. At the least, it appears the school is selling a special 1994 Oregon throwback jersey — with Kenny Wheaton name and number, no less — that remains remarkably faithful to that original look, down to the Duck logo on either sleeve. (Nike has generally been a bit apprehensive about producing gear with the Donald Duck character, due to licensing/royalty concerns.)

So, could we see the beloved Oregon throwback jersey on the field on Saturday? Time will tell. Rest assured, we’ll bring you updates the moment we have them.
