Chris Paul Debuts All-Black Air Jordan 11 IE Low

Back in 1996, Nike created the Air Jordan 11 IE Low Referee Sample, an all-black shoe designed to be worn by and given exclusively to NBA refs. The white nike free run 2 womens shoe’s never released, and it’s sort of the stuff of legends at this point. And this week, Chris Paul added to the mystique.

OK, it’s not exactly the referee sample, but CP3 showed up to USA Basketball’s minicamp in Las Vegas on Tuesday wearing an all-black Air Jordan 11 IE Low that paired a tumbled leather construction with what appears to be a synthetic nubuck mudguard. nike free run 2 grey white The materials and textures are a little off — the refs’ shoe was entirely tumbled leather, if memory serves — but you can see Dick Bavetta lacing these up in a big way.

It’s a cool, understated style, and one that’s not likely to hit stores, unfortunately. Still, we are in the midst of an XI IE revival, so anything’s possible. Check out a fuller shot below, and stay tuned for potential updates.

Air Jordan 7 “Marvin the Martian” Release 8/15

Out-of-this-world fashion comes to your all too terrestrial feet this weekend. The Air Jordan 7 Marvin the Martian releases tomorrow, August 15, white nike free run 2 womens at select Jordan accounts nationwide.

Inspired by the famous Looney Tunes alien, the shoe sports a buttery premium-looking black leather upper, nike free run 2 grey white starkly offset by red and green on the tongue and heel-tab, respectively; tones prevalent in Marvin’s signature outfit. A wild multicolored mix on the outsole and metallic silver along the midsole round out the look in strikingly colorful style.

There will always be a contingent of folks who are opposed to new colorways, and to each their own, but as far as we’re concerned, this is one of the best new VII colorways in light years. (Yes, we know that’s a unit of distance, not time, but wordplay.)
