Acronym’s Strangest Air Force 1 is Yet to Come

I don’t think anyone would deny that this week’s Acronym x Nike Lunar Force 1 collaboration, nike free run 3 with the giant attention-grabbing zipper integrated right into the upper, is a bit out of the ordinary. But here’s the thing: It’s not even the strangest Acronym Air Force 1 of the season.

Looking like a cross between the Riccardo Tisci AF1s, a Tech Fleece hoodie and a hardware store, nike free 3 v3 the Acronym x Nike Air Force 1 Downtown boot takes that honor. It boasts an ultra-high boot cut that appears to be comprised of Tech Fleece, with tonal leather adding a premium touch to the forefoot and eyestay.

Add to that a zipper on the medial side and all sorts of straps and plastic buckles — in keeping with Acronym’s sartorial sensibilities — and this is unquestionably one of the most unique Air Force 1s ever seen. Chris Paul Debuts All-Black Air Jordan 11 IE Low

Back in 1996, Nike created the Air Jordan 11 IE Low Referee Sample, an all-black shoe designed to be worn by and given exclusively to NBA refs. Air Jordan 6 Low “Straight Outta Compton” Custom

This isn’t the Nike KD 8 Lifestyle

Strapless Air Force 1 high upper — sans Swoosh, mind you — cheap roshe run shoes and a tiny heel-counter finished with a tiny Swoosh? This is the second colorway of the KD 8 Lifestyle, right?

Wrong. In fact, it’s apparently an entirely new model altogether, dubbed the Nike Pro Stepper.

Nike KD 8 “Hunt’s Hill Night” Looks Fantastic

The KD 8 continues its first run of colorways with big number five: the Nike KD 8 Hunt’s Hill Night.

Inspired by young Kevin Durant’s nocturnal workouts — he also did morning runs in that same locale — air huarache mens red the Hunt’s Hill Night channels dusk with a cool, clean grey Flyweave upper, interspersed with jets of black along the accents, Flywire and branding. Nike Free Trainer 5.0 “Texas Longhorns” PE

As we announced earlier this week — again and again — Jordan Brand will officially launch Drake’s Air Jordan 10 OVO in the coming days. Posters of the limited edition shoe have recently been seen going up on the outsides of buildings, though the city is still unclear. (Yes, safe money is on Toronto.) Each minimalist poster features an image of the stingray-styled Air Jordan 10 OVO against a white background, with the Jordan Jumpman and OVO owl printed at the bottom.

This is all moot, of course. Poster or no poster, these are selling out the instant they hit shelves, physical or virtual. Still, good to see some throwback marketing collateral, isn’t it?

Another Look at the Supreme x Air Jordan 5 “White”

One of the most talked-about, eagerly anticipated launches in ages, the Air Jordan MTM Pack has an official US release date.

USC is the Latest Football Power to Inspire a Free TR 5.0

USC is, at worst, a Pac-12 co-favorite for the coming football season, and now they have an exclusive shoe befitting their elite status. (You know, in case you were doubting that USC Football is something of a historic program.)

The Nike Free Trainer 5.0 USC PE is the latest in an increasingly long line of Free Trainer 5.0’s inspired by college football teams — Texas and Tennessee and UNC, Nike Air Huarache Online for example — giving school spirit the old college try.
